Pembayaran Zakat Via Online Perspektif Hukum Ekonomi Syariah di Darut Tauhid Peduli

Zakat is the act of giving a specific portion of certain wealth, under specified rules, at a specific time to those who meet the criteria. Zakat is one of the pillars of Islam, obligatory for every capable Muslim, holding a significant position in the Islamic faith. With technological advancements, zakat payments can now be made online. This research employs literature or library research methods to gain a profound understanding of the Shariah economic law perspective on online zakat. From the perspective of Shariah economic law, the distribution of zakat through online platforms does not pose any issues. Facilitating muzakki in channeling their zakat is considered legally valid and non-problematic. However, the hope is that zakat institutions maintain their responsibility even when the process is conducted online, ensuring adherence to Shariah principles.
